German Wine



Wine has been one of the most sought after beverages in Germany since the 18th -19th century. With numerous ups and downs in the wine making industry, the German wine revived its old grandeur with the Liebfraumilch or the wine brand called the 'milk of our lady'. Earlier the famous vine yards that catered to the demands of this particular wine were the vineyards near Worm. Now, there are numerous vine yards catering to the services of the Liebfraumilch. Some such vineyards are present in the Nahe , the Rheinhessen and the Pfalz regions in Germany.

Varieties of Germany Wine

The varieties of Germany wine depend on the variety or the type of grapes they are made of. Some such varieties of German wine are:
