German Chocolate Cake Preparation

Yummy German chocolate cake can be prepared by following some easy steps. First of all 2 deep square shaped baking pans need to be greased and floured. Next flour, baking soda, sugar, salt, sour cream, butter, eggs, milk, chocolate and vanilla has be combined in a very big bowl. Slowly this mixture has to be beaten very well by using a mixer running at low speed. When it is completely blended the speed of the mixer had to be increased to a higher setting. The beating needs to be continued for 2 more minutes. Now very gently the batter has to be spooned into prepared pans. Next in an oven preheated to 350° the batter has to be baked for roughly 35 minutes. To check if the cake has been baked properly, a wooden pick can be inserted in the cake's center. If it comes out without the cake sticking to it, the cake is done. Then the cake has to be placed on racks for cooling thoroughly. Now to make the exciting German chocolate cake topping, evaporated milk, butter and brown sugar has to be brought to a full boil in a saucepan or a thick utensil, over medium heat. After removing from heat, the pecans and coconut has to be stirred in. The cake has to be kept aside to cool. Next a layer of a cake can be placed on a cake platter and half of the coconut mixture can be spooned over the cake. The second layer of cake is then placed over it with another layer of coconut topping.

Foodies with a sweet tooth can follow the German chocolate cake recipe to please anyone and the sinfully delectable dessert is relished by all.
