Germany Police

Meant for the protection of law and order, the Germany Police has proved to be a hallmark in the state government services of Germany. With an efficient team of diligent officers, the Germany Police has solved numerous cases and curbed numerous crimes.

The Germany police can be divided into the following categories, depending on the section they are given the responsibility of . The different categories of Germany Police are:
  • Die Kripo or the Kriminalpolizei, which deals with serious crimes like murder, extortion and the others of its kind.
  • The Schupo or the Schutzpolizei, which is adept in handling cases of minor degree like theft, burglary and its like. The onus of handling petty criminals, violating the traffic rules, come under their responsibilities.
  • Another such police force, concerned specifically with the correctional steps on the highways and the roads in Germany are the Autobahnpoliz.
  • The Germany federal police agency, similar to that of the FBI in the United Statesor the Federal Bureau of Investigation, deals with criminals masterminding bank robbery, counterfeiting, kidnapping, and other serious federal crimes. This section of the Germany Police is called the Bundeskriminalamt.
The Bundesgrenzschutz or the BGS is the German border patrol, taking up the difficult responsibility of maintaining peace and law in the borders of Germany. They are concerned with crimes like cross border smuggling, trafficking and the like. This responsibility has become increasingly strenuous in the eastern boundaries, especially after the border opening in the European Union. The national railway of Germany or the Deutsche Bahn AG had its own set of police called the Bahnpolizei. This particular team has now come under the the jurisdiction of the BGS.

The Germany police has gained a universal recognition for its services, which follow the lines of speed, foresightedness and precision.
