Nazi Germany



The era of Nazi Germany has marked significance in the chapters of German history. Being led by Adolf Hitler, the world famous political figure in Germany, the Nazi Germany was better known as Deutsches Reich.

Based on the cleansing policies of Hitler, the foundations of Nazi Germany were laid on Genocide and mass killing, leaving behind a long lasting scar in the memories of the people. The policies of racial purity, anti-Semitism and revenge for the inflicting loss on the part of Germany during the treaty of Versailles drove Nazi Germany to an era that could be termed as a disgrace in the name of humanity.

World War II Germany

Leading to the second world war was the boiling anger caused by the insult that had been inflicted on Germany by the enemy states during the first world war. The war between the Allied powers, which included Britain, France and Russia and the Axis powers, which included Germany, Italy and Japan, created a gruesome chapter in the history of Germany.

The despotism in the Nazi Regime was carried over mostly on the Jews, the opponent parties and other minority communities called the Shoah. Even the women and the children were not spared. The Nazi German declared itself as the true successor to the German Empire and were dead against the Weimer Constitution and considered it to be a traitor. With the advent of Nazism in Germany, the country grew into power as one of the dominant nation states in Europe. The era also saw the appropriation of Austria as one with the country in 1938. Hereafter, Germany was declared as the first united state since the advent of the Holy Roman Empire. This achievement was short-lived although, especially after the fall of Nazi Germany in 1945.
