The birthplace of Immanuel Kant was Koningsberg, part of Prussia. As a child he was largely influenced by his father's strict Protestantism. He went to the Collegium Fridericianum and enrolled in the University of Koningsberg at the young age of 16. To earn his bread he gave private tuitions for several years. While in the University, Immanuel Kant taught subjects such as metaphysics, natural theology, moral philosophy, anthropology, physics, mathematics and physical geography.
